Requirements
GoTech is a Saudi company (located in Riyadh) that provides technical and digital solutions to
other businesses and individuals. Its operation focuses mainly on the Saudi market, but recently
it opened two offices in Egypt and Italy. Eng. Abdullah is the CEO, and there are three regional
managers (in 3 different countries) and 30 employees working under their supervision.
Recently, Abdullah has been required to make vital decisions to keep GoTech running during
many challenges, including new and existing competitors, rapid technology development, and
Coronavirus pandemic. Consider yourself the CEO’s consultant who is required to help him put
together a strategy so GoTech can not only survive but also thrive in the future.

GoTech is a Saudi company located in Riyadh. It provides technical and digital
solutions to individual and other business. It opened two offices in Egypt and Italy. The type. Of
management that GoTech uses is autocratic management whereby Abdullah the CEO is required
to make all the virtual decisions concerning GoTech Company. Malkoc.N&,Dal.S (2021)The
challenge with autocratic management the boss is one who makes the rules and regulations
concerning the company hence the team will not have any participation in hiring out their views
and opinion concerning the company and so they will be communication challenge since the boss
is one giving out all instructions.
Cultural and political challenges is another con of this type of management since the
boss is final say in every decision, the boss will not take into consideration about cultural
diversity in his or her team work and it may vary from one individual to the next as while as
political difference in terms of may be how they feel differ from one individual to the next.
According to Tuckman (1965) Phase team Creation the first one is forming stages of
group development. At this stage ,team members tend to get to know one another and create first
impression, most team members are positive and delightful and some anxious ready to learn the
work and work with the team . The second phase is Storming stage of group development. This
is a very crucial stage and it’s characterized by conflict and disagreement amongst team
members.
The third stage is Norming stage at this stage members begin to understand their roles in
the group and follow teammates roles. Final stage is performing stage at this stage there is
consistency in the work and members are committed to the task and one another.
The roles and authorities dynamically adjust to the changing needs of individual and
group. Criteria for choosing the Team ,technical team to handle digital work and ensure
knowledge and skills are shared during the work , the boss should ensure the team has
background experience from other sources. Pros of the virtual team the first one is flexible
support from team members when help is needed and the other one is affordability the company
will not incur an overhead cost for the associated service. The cons of the virtual team poor
leadership or management the boss will not be able to follow each individual and look at what he
or she is doing at all time and other can take the advantage and lazy around. Communication
challenge can be a short coming if the virtual team is huge hence few people will get the
message.
Regional manager is in charger of supervising a number a company’s stores within a
specified region. They must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and
have a strong leadership skills. They can motivate themselves and others by giving gifts to those
who have perform well and also they can put a vocation trip for the entire team for appreciation.
The manager can create a online platforms for the team and ensure each member is able to access
the platform to know what is taking place in the platform. Challenge affecting Go Tech is lack of
support from other team members since the boss is the one doing and making all the decisions
affecting the company.
The rules and regulations can be hectic for the team and frustrating at the same time when the
boss put deadline to be met hence the team put more effort in the job. Potential challenges this is
where by a colleague can attend the meeting late and where the work is not delivered on time.
Digital resources the company should ensured all members are able to access online platforms of
the company and each telephone in the office are connected so that it can facilities easy
communication among the team members and also availability of Wi-Fi internet in the office and
availability of acquired amenities in terms of computer or personal laptop and the company
should also ensure that financial resources are available in case of any problem the
company can replace without any delay. Digital and financial resources can be utilized to
run the company effectively without much problems. The CEO should ensure that all members
are given a chance to participate in decision making affecting the company. The company should
open platforms to ensure or members are given a chance to participate in those platform. The
members should come together in finding solutions affecting the company and different opinion
should be listen by members and the best chosen to run the company. The company should
ensured all data are collected and stored in safe mode. The company should ensure that all
finance are taken into consideration in terms of how it’s used and manage. In conclusion team
work is key and it make work easier , GoTech solutions company should apply team work.
