Requirement:
This is a continuous activity for part A, keep working on the same website you have chosen in
part A. In this part you are required to evaluate one of the websites below based on what you
learn from this course and your perspective. The evaluation will cover the different aspects of
ECommerce such as business idea, website design, marketing, security … etc.
You will need to analyze the business and provide suggestions to improve the current business
situation.
The following questions require critical thinking to be answered successfully. The answers to
these questions will drive the ways of improvement of the current e-commerce business.
1. Site Design 3 marks
? Evaluate the website design focusing on the eight most important factors in successful
ecommerce site design (ease of use, ease of purchase, simple graphics … etc.). You are
required to evaluate each factor. (Refer to Chapter 3 – Page 212 in the book and/or Slide
43).

2. Business software 2 marks
The development of an e-commerce website requires more interactive functionalities, such as the
ability to respond to user input (name and address forms), capturing customer orders for goods
and services, clearing credit card transactions on the fly, consolidating price and product
databases, and even adjusting advertising on the screen based on user characteristics.

number two in the Toys, Hobbies & DIY sector in Saudi, with over US$20m in 2021. As a result,
mumzworld.com makes up 0 – 6% of online store net revenue in this group.
Targeted audience
Mumzworld targets the mothers, babies, and youngster sector, from expecting mothers to new
mothers and mothers with expanding families. According to Ataya, the institution’s marketplace
model focuses on mothers, babies, and children, making it ideal for companies to introduce their
goods online to utilize the institution’s logistical architecture and handle their e-commerce demands.

Mumzworld’s website is easy and follows simple steps to ensure smooth shopping. First,
after the user registers and signs in, the user browses the entire variety of merchandise in every
category by using the category bar at the top of the homepage. Click on the desired category and
then navigate through the subdivisions to get precisely what you’re looking for! Next, the user
should make smart choices! To compare goods, click the ‘Add to compare’ button under each item
and click ‘compare’ after they’re all listed collectively. A window will pop up, allowing users to
compare the chosen goods based on their descriptions, pricing, weight, manufacturer, size, and
color.
After comparing, Click ‘Add to Wish List’ next to the item, and it will be added to the
Wish List right away. Users may post a comment to notify themself of which things they like and
when they would want to purchase them. Then after, relax and wait. The customer support staff
will guarantee that you receive the order as soon as possible, and they will give you information at
each stage of the process (Al-Ayed, 2022). Mumzworld website faces a vast number of growing
traffic which is a big challenge that needs to be resolved. To regulate and improve the
continuously increasing traffic and size of activities, Mumzworld should implement content
delivery network systems that can be used to disperse server load and provide increased
performance.
