He describes it as a dull pain in the center of his chest. He denies nausea, palpitations, radiation, dizziness, or dyspnea. He took aspirin before bed but the pain was still there when he woke. His medical history includes GERD and low back pain. He takes famotidine for the GERD and Ibuprofen as needed for the back pain. He reports he drinks 3-4 alcoholic drinks per night and more on the weekends. He denies tobacco use or illegal drug use. He has no allergies. Family history: father deceased age 62 MI. Mother deceased age 90, natural causes, one sister with type 2 Diabetes. Patient appears well developed and well-nourished. BP 138/88, P 90, RR 16. Temperature 97.6.
